I am a composer and improviser based in Leeds. I am currently completing a funded PhD at the University of Leeds titled ‘glitch as a creative tool in experimental composition and improvisation’ supervised by Scott McLaughlin and Oliver Thurley.

I lot of my background focuses on machines and music, especially in relation to timbre. I am a member of the Organism Collective, presented at the 3rd Conference on AI Music Creativity and won the Berkofsky arts award for my sound installation eō: an evolutionary sound installation which used a genetic algorithm to evolve microtonal vocal music in real-time.

I also play synth and make weird noises in the art pop band Static Caravan, play pipe organ at Mill Hill Chapel, and run music technology workshops for Yorkshire Sound Women Network.

I also love playing pipe organs about the place so please do let me know if you have access to one that I can play.
